Yawuru’s annual reporting in November

The Yawuru PBC Annual General Meeting will be held on 14th November at the Liyan-ngan Nyirrwa Cultural Wellbeing Centre.  All Yawuru members are invited to come along and participate in this important annual event that will showcase the year’s work and achievements by the Yawuru PBC and NBY.   The Annual Report will be available and there will be a video shown with an overview of the year’s events and activities.

Nominations are open for a Director position on the PBC Board – you can nominate a Director here. Nominations close 30 October 2019.   There is also a proxy form attached for voting for Directors and voting will held on the day.  There is one Director position available

Prior to this important Yawuru community meeting, there will also be a community meeting to present the General Purpose Financial Statements (GPSF).  The community is welcome to come and hear from Peter Yu NBY Chief Executive Officer,  and Shane Stewart Chief Financial Officer, about Yawuru’s investments, developments and economic planning throughout 2019.

The Draft GPSF will be available for viewing from Wednesday 28 November at NBY. Please call Rachel on 9192 9600 to make an appointment between 9am and 4pm to view them.
